RAVAR es un grupo de artistas de la provincia de A Coruña a los que une la técnica del grabado como medio de expresión plástica, además de la amistad y unas inquietudes comunes por todo lo vinculado con mundo del arte. Nuestro grupo nació entre efluvios nítricos y aromas de amistad y juntos realizamos cursos de grabado, experimentamos con diferentes técnicas e intercambiamos experiencias. En definitiva, compartimos risas, talleres, tertulias, tintas, colores y viajes.

La Biblioteca Pública Municipal de Caldas de Reis quiere ser un punto de encuentro y de acogida de las reflexiones que vosotros, los artistas-correo del mundo, hagáis sobre la LECTURA. Con las obras recibidas se elaborará una exposición en la Biblioteca Municipal para celebrar el día de las Letras Galegas, el 17 de mayo de 2006. Nos comprometemos a enviar la documentación a todos los participantes. Vuestras obras pertenecerán a la colección del centro y servirán de marco a las actividades que de fomento de la lectura organicemos. Para realizar esta actividad contamos con la colaboración del Instituto Aquis Celenis de Caldas de Reis, el Laboratorio de Arte Correo y la Corporación de Semiótica Galega. La técnica y el soporte es totalmente libre siempre que la obra pueda recibirse mediante envío postal. Todas las obras serán expuestas en la galería de arte del Café de Macondo (A Coruña)-Spain en una fecha sin determinar entre diciembre de 2006 y enero de 2007. Querid@ amig@: Te comunicamos que Ediciones El Torpe al Timón va a comenzar a editar un boletín temático de periodicidad variable, que dará cabida a poesía, prosa y poesía visual, para el cual nos gustará contar con tu colaboración. Aunque sea este el primer número del boletín, llevamos ya cinco libros editados en esta nuestra humilde editorial. De entre los veintitantos títulos y temas que ya nos están urgiendo, hemos decidido comenzar por uno al que tenemos especial ganas: “Boletín del traje de insecto (Cocteau sigue vivo entre nosotros)”. Fue el hecho de encontrar esta foto de Cocteau tan, pero tan estimulante el que nos impulsó en esta idea del boletín temático, así pues mándanos sobre el tema, sobre la imagen de la foto de Cocteau (y no sobre la emancipación de las ranas en el Alto del Golán) un poema, una prosa (breve relato, pequeño ensayo o divagación minúscula) o un poema visual, de tamaño DIN-A 5, teniendo en cuenta que se imprimirá sólo con tinta negra, así que fuera los colorines. Como todavía seguimos con la distribución de “33 esquinas de una sombra” la fecha tope de entrega para participar en el boletín será el 31 de diciembre de este año 2005. The aim of the Festival is both to present an overview of independent creativity world wide, performed by communication networks, and to create a meeting place for exchanging the acquired experiences. The Festival mainly focuses on artistic activities performed in scenes such as home-tape, Mail-Art, street art, small press, … On top of that, video, performance and fine art artists do get the possibility to exhibit and perform their creativity. As such, the "Independent Arts"-Festival is unique in its kind. [02] Goal: Issue 18 will focus itself on the interaction between artists and an estimated public of 700. The public will not only be able to “see” but also to “do” in various ways. For participating artists an extra challenge.
